Thank you for stopping by my page; please leave a comment to say hi! I would very much like to help contribute to the awesome community of fiction (and nonfiction) readers and writers on Substack, so I am stealing a page from the book of some lovely writers who are rocking it at just that - building an online community. Not that an online community is a replacement for actual, physical, people-in-the-same-room-as-you community. But places like Substack can be a wonderful way to connect with other people who love the same weird stuff you do.

Hello! Just found your story "Down in the Holler" and I am loving it. If I could have lunch with any writer, I'd choose Agatha Christie. She's the queen of mystery writing, and I am fascinated by how she crafted some of the most intricate and beloved detective stories. Not only that, but her prolific career is incredibly inspiring.

I think I'd want to sit with Tolkien so that I could pick his brain about building such an incredible world. He's probably the one I'd understand the best.
