Aunt Greta! I didn't see that coming. Looking forward to reading part 3.

This is so many layers of not good!! I'm glad Penelope still has the magic, but maybe this is worse.

Is it weird to say I think I understand where Greta is coming from? Not that I agree, but it seems like an oncoming train crash of two conflicting perspectives and how they're going to get out of this safely I really don't know! I look forward to seeing the final installment!

That’s what I think is so fascinating/hard/fun/emotionally difficult about writing tense family dynamics - the antagonist is rarely just “evil” or “wrong”. Nobody’s committing murder (so far) in this one, so things are a bit murkier than in Judith’s stories. Though I guess those were murky enough in their own way. 😅

Great plot development and pace to this story Bridget. Really like this one. Family businesses are an absolute gold mine for conflicted emotions and make for a stew of individual family dreams mixed together in one pot. Terrific story. - Jim

Thank you so much, Jim! I’ve been surprised by how much I’ve learned about brewing just from researching a short story!
