I feel like there's a line between goal-oriented/focused and just plain rude, and Dr. Heather Tierney just drove her fancy car clean over, through, and beyond that line. I mean. Yeesh.
Also, I love that Judith named the dog Orwell, which means she's very much keeping it, right?
That's rough, being in those situations where someone seems better than you and they act like it; glad Judith got a bit of her own back, so to speak. (Also, I think the M.E. has moved to the top of my list of suspects, although I have a suspicion about those "not-gang" groups. Is this a Montague/Capulet kind of thing?)
Ooooh, I do not care for Dr. Tierney. It could be me, but a subject matter expert recommending ~the internet~ as a resource is a red flag right up front. Feels to me like she only agreed to meet thinking she was going to get something out of that. Consultancy fees on a documentary, maybe. It goes with the Ritalin habit. I don't think she's a suspect herself, but does her dealer knows something about what happened to Samantha? How seriously would she lie to make sure those rumors didn't come back? Hmmmm.
Omg. Love what’s written on Tim’s mug. Also, Dr. Tierney still seems a bit of a mystery. Does she make up stuff or sign off on an underling’s nonsense without reviewing it? Or is she so wired she just misses stuff, which I guess is a lie of omission?
Bridget, I just love Judith. Awkward in many social situations, wired tight, brilliant in her own way and just plain relentless. Loving Beasts of the Field. Great job with Episode IV. - Jim

Gotta love a good Shakespearean theory. 😉

Gripping as always!
Thank you! I can’t trust myself to comment on the theories, though. 🙈

And the dog has a name!!!! Game over; he belongs to Judith! These are the details that make your stories so real and compelling.
Oh, thank you, Stephanie! Judith is slowly getting over her denial about being a dog owner. 😆
Wow! Judith goes hard! This is fantastic!
She definitely has a one-track mind. 😂

Thank you so much, Jim! I love her too!
