Email/letter/text exchanges are the best to write! Somehow they seem to really get down at what the characters are like, in a way you don't get to explore otherwise.
When it got to this line, I wanted to throw up - which is exactly what one ought to feel on seeing a corpse in a ditch! Another excellently written chapter with so much strong imagery!
