Bridget, I'm following this story like a bloodhound on the scent. You are a gifted writer. Excellent with dialogue and character development. I'm curious about Judith and how you have drawn her so well with words. She almost has to have part, or parts, of you in her? This is just a great ongoing story that I'm thoroughly enjoying. Thanks for sharing. - Jim

Thank you, Jim! I appreciate your comment so much. There are aspects of me in Judith, as I think there are with most of my characters, but she's challenging me to look at situations with a new point of view!

This isn’t the kind of story I expected to be reading, but I’m hooked! Looking forward to the next chapter, Bridget!

Well, Tim is a sport. Judith is quite a cool character, might be a tad too efficient... But I think that's what makes her quite memorable.

Judith is unique for sure. 😂 Tim is the much more “normal” of the two, but Judith is very fun to write.

I love that Judith asked to be tested. That seems so fitting for her character!

It was very fun writing Judith from someone else’s perspective!

This is gearing up, Bridget! Really glad I'm taking my time with these. Judith is such a fun character and this scene... can so easily picture myself reading this in a book. This is gold!

Just hope I can keep dodging spoilers. I'm struggling through Lovecraft atm and it's taking way longer than I thought it would-- although part of me is wondering why I'm bothering. The last one failed in spectacular fashion. Just know I'm hooked and I'll be back for each one!

Really enjoying this series - keep 'em coming please. I like this serialized model, it's like what Dickens and others used.

I loved this chapter. Tim's view of Judith is GREAT. And this is also 100% how government IT works (I'm really impressed that they have a VPN - I assume some kind of federal regulation was involved...)

I did realize that I had no firm idea of Judith's age. Tim seems to think of her as young, but up until that point I'd imagined them both as mid-thirties, though her older.

Yeah, I haven’t given many age markers for them, so Judith could have been anywhere from 20-85. 😅 They’re roughly the same age, in the late 20s-early thirties range.

Ooooh I liked this. The character development is great here, and I loved the reveal at the end. Brilliant!

Bridget, this series is phenomenal. As the sherrif was looking back through the files, I watched the hair on my arm stand up.

Incredible build of the tension in both these last two episodes.
