I'm gonna read a couple today but this is so great, Bridget! Well-stacked building blocks of tension and mystery. I'm already finding myself theorising as I go! Success!
The plot thickens! Great sense of all the secrets lurking beneath the surface, and very curious about the cause of the "static" that is disturbing Judith's reading in the house.
I'm only sorry it took me a long time to continue reading this serial. This chapters really good. Well paced and description of the atmosphere and settings really add to the characters too. Wow, just wow.
"And the note, potential evidence, had festered in Stewart’s mind, burning a hole in his peace, a hot ember hidden in the ash of a long-dead fire."
Man, this line was so evocative.
Thank you! It was a last-minute addition because I didn’t like the line’s initial phrasing. It worked out to be one of my favorite bits as well!

Just glad I finally have some time for them. I hope to get two more before the words find me again!

Better and better every time! This story follows me around and pokes me at night when I’m trying to sleep. More!
What a compliment! Thank you!
Ooh. I was beginning to think she wouldn’t get anywhere!

Oh I love the intrigue you've created with the deep woods cabin and the note! Great work!
Thank you!
YEEEEEEEEEES!
Good stuff, Bridget. Can't wait for the next episode
Thank you!
Bridget, I'll just say this, every new episode is somehow better than the last. As they say in poker, 'I'm all in.' Thanks for sharing. - Jim
