And there you go. Perfect dog story. I needed that today, Bridget. And I'm anxious for spring for another reason now besides the obvious...it has to do with Murmurs. Have a great day. - Jim
I am subscribing after just reading this short story of yours. It is so very realistic, and so precious from the dog's point of view. Heartwarming. Thank you!
Thank you, Keith! My kids have been watching an animal show that follows the life cycle of a salmon, but I didn’t even think about the possible bear-dog mix-up until I watched part of their show!
I think it works, creates a teensy mystery in the beginning where the reader thinks maybe people are justified in shooing off this bear, only to come find that it’s a poor hungry dog.
This lovely little story put a heartwarming smile on my face. Thank you, Bridget! We could all do with a bit of that sort of love in the world, methinks.
I love this little tale of love and homecoming! Little Thornpaw has found his people and my heart is full.
Thank you, Liz! ❤️

Awwwww! This was perfect.
A charming, heart-warming read. Perfect for a stormy winter night.
You always amaze me at how many stories you bust out…
After losing our sweet moose doggie, it was bittersweet to read.
Thank you so much, Julie! I’m so sorry you all lost Moose. He seemed like such a sweet, wonderful boy.
Great little story!
Thank you!
Aw, so good! Reminds me of Flush by Virginia Woolf.
Thank you! Ooh, I haven’t read that one! I’ll have to see if I can find it online.
