Have you read The Art Thief by Michael Finkel? It’s a true crime story about a European couple in the late 90s who go on a massive crime spree, stealing art from these tiny poorly guarded museums. This reminded me of that fascinating book in many ways. I think you would enjoy it. A great start to what’s sure to be a great series!

Thank you, Garen! That sounds right up my alley! I’ll have to see if my library has it available.

Charming and exciting. I love these two. I can't wait to see what they get up to next.

Thank you, Jennifer!

You will have to have a scene in which Tommy is only supposed to blow the bloody doors off. You know that, right?

I am eagerly looking forward to more of these two. I like them already!

I didn't even realise there was a remake of Italian Job. They really shouldn't do these remakes. The original is flawless. I think remakes of flawless masterpieces are an insult. Like forgeries, actually.

I have a story called Katy's McGuffin, so I know what you're on about there.

I love that line! I love the whole movie, but that scene in particular is one of my all-time favorites.

I adore movies with loads of quotable one-liners. We’d best not get started though or we’ll be here all day…

Although you could be mischievous and have Florence and/or Tommy’s dialogue making a few sly references to those memorable one liners. I do like a good pop culture reference.

Or let Tommy knock off a shiny red mini cooper. Something like that.

My husband has never seen The Italian Job, and when I casually mentioned that the climactic car chase involved mini coopers, he did a double take!

Now there’s an idea for Valentine’s day - cook him something nice but in return he has to sit down on the comfy sofa and watch Italian Job with you.

It’s got to be one of the best car chases in the history of car chases, that one. I am so going to have to watch this movie again. It’s been about ten years at l east maybe. Although I can still visualise the whole thing like it was yesterday.

Nice little teaser.

Oh, I like them. I mean, as a lawyer what they did was totally unethical and boo crime and all, but I like them.

Thank you! I like them too. They were a fun little surprise for me!

Really enjoyed this one Bridget. Waiting for more Tommy and Florence now. Btw, I'm also a big fan of the old crime and heist movies. Along with Michael Cain, I'm a huge fan of Cary Grant movies and To Catch a Thief with him and Grace Kelly was always a favorite of mine. I'm sure you've seen it but if by chance you haven't, I highly recommend it. North by Northwest and Charade too. Great job with this story. - Jim

Thank you so much, Jim! I love all of those movies! My parents were huge Cary Grant fans, and we watched a lot of classics while

I was growing up.
